My favourite bag is my black clutch bag which I bought two winters ago, costing only £25 and that I have worn on most nights out ever since. It probably sounds truly tacky and 'gothic' but I promise it isn’t. It is made from a black material with a few sparkles in it and a zip at one end that folds over and on the front is a large diamante skull. It's so stunning and edgy looking, a real statement piece and really jazzes up simple outfits into something special. The bag itself hold quite a lot considering it is only a clutch bag, so I can fit in my keys, money, mints, camera and perfume with no problems. I always get questions and compliments on it and don’t see many other girls with one so that’s a bonus because I think there is nothing worse than going out and bumping into lots of people wearing similar things. |

I’m sure that there are many among you who like to be at the beach during summers and spend a lot of time there. Being at the beach or lake in summers is indeed refreshing and as can be guessed every woman likes to look at her best while swimming or sunning, and I’m no exception. But, I never go to the beach without my reef sandals that hold a secret that I’m going to share with you today.
The secret of these shoes is that their heels are designed to enclose a hidden section wherein you can store your personal stuff. The compartment is large enough to accommodate your id or credit card and some cash for any emergency.
Imagine the advantage of such a design! No more you’ll need to drag along your bag to the beach or get tense about its safe keeping on the beach. Get a pair of Reef Stash sandals, and just put your most essential items in the cavity provided for the purpose and remain relaxed to enjoy whatever activity is keeping you occupied. So convenient! |

No matter where you are going or what time of year it is, it is better to be fashionably late when you are going to be late. One way in doing this is to always carry a scarf, particularly one of those lovely silk scarves you see online. Scarves have become an "in" accessory to wear no matter what time of the year. A cool breeze on the boardwalk at the beach might call for a light, casual scarf. Or it can be a cold day in the city. Either way, scarves are a wonderful thing to wear. During the summer, I always love to throw a colorful flower scarf on with a blue top and jeans or a cute pink or green scarf to accent my clothes. It is a way to look like you are ready for anything. However, scarves are essential in the winter time. One of my favorite scarves would be my black woven one. It matches practically anything. They can be worn with my uggs, a sweater, a long sleeve shirt or even with my winter coat. |

Satchels are incredibly practical. As a young girl, I was considered a tomboy (and probably still am), and I never felt completely comfortable carrying around cutesy clutch bags or colorful purses. I preferred something durable that I didn't have to carry in my hand all of the time. Thus, I began using across-the-shoulder satchels in place of purses. Satchels, if the appropriate size, can be used in the same manner as purses to carry makeup, wallets, brushes, mirrors, and so on. They can also be used, however, in place of school bags for carrying books and other various school supplies. In addition, satchels are traditionally relatively plain in appearance, and can therefore be worn with almost any outfit, thus eliminating any stress associated with matching purses to outfits. For those who prefer something more on the fancy side, satchels can also be quite elegant, as some are made from genuine leather and other fine materials. Satchels are versatile bags that can be used in a variety of situations. |

Freshwater pearls are slowly overtaking the saltwater pearl in popularity because of their less expensive price and their quality improvements over the years. The Akoya saltwater pearl is the highest quality pearl. All other pearls attempt to measure up to its symmetry, shine, and luster. Today China produces the most freshwater pearl. The United States was China's primary competition until they over-farmed the mollusks and the mollusks population died off. Now China is the leading producer of fresh water pearls.
The difference between salt-water pearls and freshwater pearls is that saltwater pearls are found in the wild with the pearl already formed, while freshwater pearls are bead-nucleated. A small incision is made in the fleshy mantle tissue of a young mollusk and 3mm of donor mantle tissue is inserted. The mollusk is returned to its natural habitat for 2-6 years. The freshwater pearl that results is made of 100% nacre. The pearls are very rarely perfectly round, but their colors are quite nice.
That is a characteristic for which freshwater pearls are known, their range of colors. Today's pearls are harvested from a different mollusk than was used prior to 1990. The triangle shell or Hyriopsis cumingii is used today, producing an improved quality fresh water pearl. In addition to using a different mussel, insertions have been reduced by at least 5 per mollusk. The quality of freshwater pearls has been purposely improved and not only is the nacre a better quality, the shine and luster are more competitive to the Akoya pearl with an added feature of a greater range of colors. |

In my line of work, I have to think of unique and interesting jewellery gift ideas for women. And it often gets me thinking about my own fashion tastes (which I would say are quite unique) and my favourite fashion items.
For me, it always comes down to the accessories - the pashminas, the earrings, the brooches, the hats and belts. Why? Because they only ADD to your overall look, they never compete with the other clothes you wear. You can never go wrong with accessories and I always say to my friends - before you leave the home, say this word : accessorize!
Also, fashion accessories need not be expensive either - in fact, I actually do NOT like expensive jewellery - there's something vulgar about spending a fortune on a ring or a set of earrings - I like the simplicity of accessories, not the so-called sophistication of them. |

I've decided to become a self-employed removal man. I have my van, and I have my health, and I have plenty of time - so why not? I'm a very impetuous type of person - I rush into things without proper planning. On my first removal job, I had no heavy duty gloves or safety footwear, and I was charged with moving 3 rooms full of broken furniture - sharp, splintered wood, heavy wardrobes and chest of drawers. I really did some damage to my hands that day, though I managed to avoid dropping anything on my tennis shoes!
But I am enthusiastic and I do learn, so I've now got all I need to safely move people's furniture quickly from place A to place B. In fact, I'm really getting into this job - it's not 8 hours a day - more like 3 to 4 solid hours work which is great for me. |

People, especially the younger ladies, used to think that older women are the only ones that should wear pearls necklace. However, that is no longer the case. Women of all ages are wearing pearls necklace to add a bit of glamour and sophistication to their looks. There are even some who use pearls to dress up their plain white shirt, jeans, and stilettos. We really can't blame them because pearls necklace works with just about any outfit.
There are different lengths of pearls necklace. Princess type, which usually ranges from 17 to 19 inches, looks amazing with a low neckline top, while choker can be used both for formal and casual wear for it is only around 14 to 16 inches long. Pearl rope necklace, on the other hand, is normally over 45 inches. Because of its length, it can be used as a princess, choker, and even a bracelet. The possibilities are endless! |

Of all items that pertain to fashion and style, I have to say shoes are my favorites. Nothing else can be found in such vast variety and style. From shoes for swollen feet to trainers to high heels to flip-flops!
Shoes have come a long way over the years. They have moved from the basic sandals that used to just barely cover the feet to the boots that completely cover the feet and most of the leg. Shoes have also come in all sorts of colors and designs. They range from the discreet black to the loud and lively yellow. While shoes are not that conspicuous on the runway, they forma fundamental facet of fashion. They do more than just cover and protect the feet. They add color and life to the feet and to the wardrobe as a whole. Unlike clothes or other fashion items, shoes have the unique ability to be simple and elegant simultaneously. Not all shoes are like Cinderella's glass slipper but that doesn't mean they have to lack anything as far as glamor is concerned. |

There was a time when people stood in front of a minister and vowed before God to stay together through every challenge and difficulty that life could throw at them. It was a sober occasion and meant to be taken seriously, with a lot of forethought. The ceremony was the main event. Witnesses, vows, exchanging of rings, the culmination of an engagement period when the enormity of the decision to spend an entire life with one person was seriously considered. The dress, the bridal comb tiaras, flowers, decorations, food, honeymoon - all secondary. For many, non-existent. The present day American wedding is almost the polar opposite of what it once was. Months of preparation go into the wedding, but the preparation involves long hours with a floral designer, trekking to dozens of bridal salons and agonizing over what to serve at the reception. Little thought is given to main event - joining a life with another life - because so few actually believe in their vows in the first place. The party is the thing. Hopefully, a BIGGER party is the thing - more expensive, more over the top, a better show! It is no wonder that the divorce rate is high. The day-to-day life of working through a marriage can never compare to an extravagant party. Couples feel let down, like they are not doing it "right" and give up. Expectations are inappropriate because they are not realistic. Marriage needs to be seen for what it is - a glorious union of two people, who live out ALL aspects of life, wonderful AND difficult together, determined never to quit. |

With so many styles, materials, and patterns, they go well with almost any outfit and also jewellery (I love wearing my hermatite bracelet with my gloves), and because of this, they are one of my favorite things to wear anywhere. Fingerless gloves often do well for a sporty or punk look it says a girl isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty, but still wants them to look good while doing it. Long gloves are classy and elegant, or, with the right touches and attire, downright sexy. Full-fingers, if not used for warmth but style instead, say a girl wants to protect and hide her hands as if they were something to treasure. It’s the same concept as modesty being a means to mystery, and mystery has an incomprehensible, sensual appeal. Buttons and bows make the gloves endearing and adorable and, the more complex a pair of gloves are, the easier they are to coordinate with today’s increasingly intricate trends. Dark, light, plain or patterned, gloves can spice up any outfit, and any wardrobe could easily benefit from them. |
