Looking Good

Many of us are very aware about the way that we look. If you pick up any magazine, it will have an article in it about how to build up muscle, look better or reporting on how celebrities are looking. It makes us feel like we are constantly being judged on how we look and this can make us obsessive about our bodies.

It is important to remember that we are all different shapes and sizes. If we were all the same dress size, we would still look different because we all have different body shapes. However, it is important to think about our BMI and how we can maintain a healthy weight. Healthy weights can range a lot - there is usually about three stone between our healthy minimum and maximum weight. It is a good idea to find out what our healthy weight should be and see whether we are within that range. If we are on the higher side then it might be a good idea to think about making sure that it does not go up any more. One way to do this is to exercise.

Increasing the amount of exercise that we do, can also help us feel better about our bodies. We will find that our body gets more toned, it may change in shape a bit and even if our weight does not go down, we will have more muscle and less fat which is a much healthier way to be.

It is a god idea to think about what sort of exercise you think that you can take up which you will find fun. It is good to do something which is fun because you are more likely to keep doing it. If you are not sure what to do or need a kick start then why not go on a boot camp? These can introduce you to lost of ways to exercise and you will get a chance to try different things and decide what you like the best.
